Pastor Adeboye Leads Protest Against Wanton Killings, As “Placard Reads Every Souls Matter To God”

The General overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye (Today) on Sunday, led members of his church in a walk against wanton killings in the country

In a news report monitored on channels television, pastor Adeboye had directed the congregation to participate in the prayer walk declared by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to address the spate of killings across the country.

It notes that the assistant general overseer of the church, funsho odesola had directed the existing 25,000 twenty-five thousand parishes of the church to carry out the same exercise nationwide.

This Action may be unconnected to the recently released video that saw how Boko Haram beheaded the CAN chairman in Minchika, Reverend Andimi who was said to have refused to convert to Islam before he was beheaded.

Meanwhile president mohammadu Buhari had since condemned the terrorist  killing Lawan Andimi, chairman of CAN in Michika local government area of Adamawa state, describing it as cruel, inhuman and deliberately provocative.

According to Open Door USA’s 2020 World watch list, Nigeria  is ranked the 12th worst country in the world when it comes to Christian persecution
