Lagos Police Arrest Bag Snatcher in Ipaja, Recover Firearm: Olusegun Ariyo

Operatives of Lagos state police command has apprehended a bag snatcher within ipaja metropolis specifically at boy’s town.

The 30-year-old suspected bag snatcher whose Name is Emmanuel Daniel was apprehended by a team of police detectives led by CSP Tokunbo Abaniwonda.

Elkana said the suspect was arrested while trying to snatch a bag from a woman at boys town, a location within ipaja metropolis, adding that the suspect will be charged to court.

Item recovered include one locally made pistol with one live ammunition.

In a similar development, a team of detectives in Bariga division while on a routine patrol around Ifelodun Street within the metropolis was able to arrest a 21-year old Adewole Oluwatoyin with a knife used to snatch an itel phone from One Adeyemi Kayode.
The statement put further that the 15-year old Adeyemi Kayode got his phone snatched inside Ebute market before a team of detectives the phone and the knife used.

The spokesman said the suspects had confessed to the commission of the crime, adding that he will be charged to court
