
Lagos state police command has Reveal two trigger happy policemen that were alleged to have shot the bullet that led to the death of kolade Johnson.
Recall that Kolade Johnson was killed in a mysterious circumstance along onipetesi specifically within Mangaro bus-stop as it was earlier reported “that his death came as a result of a trigger happy policemen attached to anti-cultism unit of the Lagos police command where other views coming from social media believe it to be members of federal special anti-robbery squad (FSARS) until the public relation officer of the Lagos state police command confirmed it to be members of police team attached to anti-cultism squad.
Confirming their arrest, the police public relation Officer Dsp Bala Elkana in a statement made available to Urban Express News Online said the officers involved have since been in its custody undergoing interrogation and will be subjected to internal disciplinary procedures and may be prosecuted in conventional court if implicated through an ongoing investigation.
Meanwhile, the Lagos state commissioner of police, Mr Zubairu Muazu has paid a condolence visit to the family of late kolade Johnson as he assured them justice over the incident.
The statement put further that the commissioner of police was received by the head of the deceased family Alhaji Remi Lukman at the family’s residence located at Beco Street, onipetesi within Mangoro Bus-stop
In his remark, cp zubairu Muazu condemned the action of the members of the anti-cultism team suspected to have carried out the shooting and reiterated the command’s commitment in ensuring that justice is done on the matter.
He said men suspected to have carried out the shooting have been apprehended and subjected to internal disciplinary procedures as he reveals their names as inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sergeant Godwin Orji attached to the anti-cultism squad
“CP Muazu prayed for peace of the soul of kolade Johnson and also prayed that the Almighty God grant the family, friend and well-wishers the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss”

In response, the head of the late deceased family, Alhaji Lukman expressed his gratitude to the commissioner of police for honouring the family with his presence and his resolve in the case.
“I want to commend the commissioner of police for this bold step taken in exposing those behind the shootings, I thought it is going to be a one man’s fight, but seeing the police high command joining our family in this fight has indeed
shown that justice will not only be done to kolade but the entire Nigerian youths”
“I am glad that we have a new police force which believes in justice”

He said his late son was a peace-loving person, calling on well-wishers to remain calm and allow the law to take its cause.
The commissioner of police was accompanied by Deputy commissioner of police in charge of finance and Administration, Dcp Ayuba Elkanah, Deputy commissioner of police in charge operation, Dcp Mohammed Ali, Deputy commissioner of police in charge of criminal investigation Department, Panti, Dcp Yetunde lunge
