Ajah Cult Clash: Two Suspects Now In Our Custody-Police





The Lagos state police command said it has arrested two suspects in connection with the cult clash that took place in Ajah, an outskirt of lekki along Abraham Adesanya where four corpses were said to have been evacuated to the mortuary.


The Lagos state police spokesman, Dsp Bala Elkana in a press statement  said on 14th April 2019 at about 8:45am, Ogombo police Division received a distress call that rival cult group had a clash  of supremacy along Abraham Adesanya in Lekki Epe Expressway and that four members of Eiye cult gang were killed by Aye members



This he said was what led to the arrest of two suspects with name saheed Lateef male of 21 years and Julius Augulere, male with Age 20 year who accordingly reside at 13 Obodo street okeira nla, langbassa Ajah in Lagos.

Elkana said the suspects are those with having an affiliation with Aye confraternity and that which was arrested in connection with the case and that they have confessed to committing the crime.

The Ppro said item recovered from them include one Axe with blood stains
He said four corpses were evacuated and has been deposited at the public mortuary for Autopsy.

Elkana said all those corpses deposited have matchet cuts with one of the corpses head severed but not taken away

“The Command has launched a manhunt of the other fleeing cult members”, he added
