Lagos Police Burst Cultist Hideout At Ijegun, Arrest One On Its Wanted List, Four Others BY OLUSEGUN ARIYO

Operatives of Lagos state police command made a leeway as it succeeded in arresting most wanted cultist that is said to be on its list overtime and four others who have been terrorizing Ijegun Egba, a settlement within satellite town in Amuwo-Odofin.


The most wanted and that which was described as a serial killer with name Ibrahim Abdullahi whose heinous act send shaver down to the spines of residence was arrested shortly after midnight at his hideout in Ijegun Egba during an operation led by the Divisional police officer of satellite town Csp chike Oti.



In a statement made available to urban express news online through the Lagos state police public relation officer Dsp Bala Elkana; quoting “CP Zubairu Muazu, the state commissioner of police, as saying; “his Boss had earlier in the week charged Area commanders, DPOs and tactical units commanders in the state to clamp down on the activities of members of unlawful societies and raid all identified criminal enclaves!


He said it was based on this directive and credible intelligence received about Ibrahim Abdullahi who had been on the run since he was linked to the murder of three residents of the communities in a satellite town that made the operatives swung into action.

“He said Abdullahi Aka Tiny was arrested alongside one of his accomplice, Obinna Kelvin Okey with age (23yrs)”

“During preliminary interrogation, they confessed to belonging to a cult group called the Aro-Bagger Aka Vikings”

“Other cultist arrested during the operation includes Ismaila Adebayo.( 21), Bode Akodo (21) and  Adefesun Abdulwahab( 25)

The commissioner of police cp zubairu Muazu had directed the homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence Department, Panti yaba to take over the case involving the said Ibrahim Abdullahi which has to do with an ongoing investigation on the three murder incidents linked to him.


“Other suspects were transferred to the command’s Anti cultism squad for further investigation, the statement reads.
