Abule-Egba Pipeline Vandal Suspect Arrested, Prime Culprit Still On The Run-police

The Lagos state police command said it has recorded a Break-through during an investigation to ascertain the cause of  fire explosion  that engulfs Abule-Egba axis and some part of Agege within Lagos metropolis leading to a self-confession  made by four suspects it arrested 

Recall that  on the ninteen of this month, fire gut-out from pipeline network around Abule-Egba that rises over a hundred houses, shops and about 50 cars that went in flame as a result


Narrating how its recorded a break-through to urban express news online correspondent, the Lagos state police public relation officer, CSP chike Oti said during interrogation, four suspects that were arrested gave vivid account  of how the fire  that emanated from a vandalized  petroleum pipe  engulfed a fraction of Abule-Egba community, escalating to some parts of Agege area, destroying  properties worth millions of naira, where they also mentioned one  Hon. Ambassador, Prince Dauda  Ewenla  as their ringleader

Continuing, Oti said it was in this telling the command extended an invitation to him at his last identified residence, but found out that he has fled to Ogun state in order to evade arrest


“We hereby advise the said prime suspect to come out of hiding and report himself to Lagos state police command headquarters, Ikeja or any nearest police station to defend all allegations levelled against him, the statement added!
