The Lagos state commissioner of police, Edgal Imohimi became a shining light in far away in the Gambia as he bagged two spectacular awards at the 15th by-annual security watch Africa Award conference and exhibition held in the Gambia on the 15th of this month, penultimate week, precisely on Thursday.
The Award is said to be spectacular as it relates to his high-level techniques he is said to be putting in place in Lagos that is reported to have quelled youth unrest in cult activities and other related crimes making Lagos more peaceful, the organizers have said
The two Awards specifically are golden star Award for urban crime control in Africa and the most outstanding crime control command in the west and central Africa.
The Award was presented to him by the permanent secretary state house and chief of staff to the President, Republic of the Gambia Alhagie Builli Dibba at the Kairaba beach hotel in Banjul.
Confirming the development, the Lagos state police public relation officer Csp chike Oti told urban express news correspondent that the award was an indication of hard work and more work, promising that the tempo shall be sustained as he urges Lagos state inhabitants for their continuous support
