How IGP’s Response Team Arrested Cult Gangs That allegedly killed Two Ogun Varsity Students

The Inspector General of Police Intelligent response team (IRT) has given an account of how one Muritala Babatunde and Taiwo Razak both cult gangs killed two Ogun state university students.

The prompt response was sequel to information received by the operatives of the inspector general of police’s intelligent response team that Mr Oriade Adebisi was seen  inside his Honda Crosstour car with registration No FST 350FA together with his girlfriend (Julian Eke Imaga) both of which are students of Ogun state university, driving along Oru Metropolis after leaving Akogun’s House who happened to be their friend.


 The development that struck according to the narrative of  Dcp Abba Kyari to which was obtained through his Facebook account by urban express news-online correspondent said the alleged killer all of a sudden emerged in a motorcycle, forced their way into the said vehicle and whisked away Mr Oriade Adebisi and his girlfriend who happened to be Juliana Eke with their car to an unknown destination

His Word: “on the receipt of complaints, operatives of the inspector general of police Response team (IRT) led by DCP Abba Kyari in collaboration of Oyo state Federal state anti-robbery squad (FSARS)couple with Ogun state police command swiftly swoop on the hoodlums and two of the principal suspects Muritala Babatunde and Taiwo Razak were subsequently arrested”.
He said an iPhone and with Etisalat sim and two pairs of canvas shoes belonging to the deceased were recovered from one of the principal suspects.

“The alleged killers of those victims is said to have confessed to the crime of killing Oriade Adebisi and Juliana Eke”

Confessional Statement Obtained:

“Muritala Babatunde, 29years, an indigene of Oru in ijebu north local Government “that I am a university dropped out and that while I was in the university at Ago iwoye, was initiated into cultism called Black Axe confraternity popularly known as “AIYE”. That I am now the current Number one “AIYE” member in Ijebu-North axis and had in my possession two locally made pistols which I and other gangs members normally use to perpetrate nefarious acts".

 Adding that, having noticed the Said Oriade Adebisi’s movement along Oru-Ijebu junction , whom he had been nursing criminal intents against, he quickly called his gang members including  Razak Taiwo  and kidnapped the said victim  and his girlfriend with their car and was  taken to the bush along Ijebu-ode Awa/Ibadan expressway where both of them was killed.

 His Word: "Before Oriade Adebisi was killed,, i  ordered him to deactivate his password on his iPhone and I took the iPhone and two pairs of shoes from him and thereafter abandoned the car at the expressway having dumped their lifeless bodies in a bush at the back of an uncompleted building where they were murdered”.

He Claimed the Victim was a Yahoo boy and was giving money to a Rival cult group and was not giving him money, not recognized him as the overall Cult leader of that area.

On his other Counterpart; “Taiwo Rasak, an 18 years an indigene of Imota in Ikorodu LGA of Lagos state, said he was initiated into AIYE confraternity in the year 2015, and that he went to stay with the first suspect Muritala Babatunde at Oru-Ijebu who indeed was the Number One in their confraternity.

 Prodding further, he said Babatunde Muritala called him and one Sodiq (cult member) to meet with him at Oru junction. On their arrival, Babatunde Muritala told them that he wanted to kill Oriade Adebisi who he said parted away with his money”.

“ Muritala then called his girlfriend Seun Yetunde  who had been monitoring the said Oriade’s movement and she brought a bag that contained two guns and a cutlass.  “Muritala then gave him one of the guns, whilst handled the other one and handed over the said cutlass to Sadiq while waiting patiently for Oriade to come.
 Few minutes, Oriade and his girlfriend arrived in a car. Suddenly, “we
based him down with a gun” Muritala then took over the steering having ordered the said Oriade and the girl to the backseat while he and Sadiq were at the back seat with them and they drove off the junction. 
Accordingly, He said they took the victims to the bush along  Ibadan expressway where they were killed with planks and gun”.

Continuing, Abba Kyari said the decomposed corpse of late Oriade Adebisi  and Juliana was recovered from the alleged killers and is  being deposited at the general hospital’s morgue with a location at  ijebu ode for autopsy

He said the victim’s car and other operational guns was also recovered
