A distributor to international brewery company in Lagos, manufacturers of liquid beer must have every cause to tell their experience after going through the harrowing ordeal from their employee who initially had proven to be someone worthy to be trusted and then ended up being a criminal before the long arm of law caught up with him by operatives of the lagos state police command.
Their travail begins after taking a decision to employ one Dominic Nege as their driver. Following that decision, the distribution company immediately profiles the said Dominic Nege, unknown to them that all the information he provided turned out to be false in addition to the one his guarantor provided.
Trouble, however, begins when he assumed his duty as a driver and was assigned a route from its origin where their company is based to bonny camp destination in Victoria Island. He was said to have loaded 143 crates of beer liquid contents in bottle valued at ten million, three hundred naira. This was how the suspect diverted the entire goods item heading to another destination and switch off his phone.

The suspects, however, regretted their misdeeds after asking them the reason for their action, Their Word: “I kidnapped the boy alone and demanded the ransom so that I can get money to buy equipment for my welding job. I am a welder by profession but there is no money for me to start on my own business.”
The other suspect that provided bank Account Chinecherem said, ” I am a trainee Fashion designer in IMO state. My elder brother Mesharck called me to send my bank account to him so he can send me N4000 for feeding. That was how he got my bank account. When I went to the village and saw the boy with him, he told me that the boy is his son. I don’t know anything about the kidnapping.”
