Breakings;Willie Obiano is Declared Winner of Anambra Election

Following the rigours of electoral permutations coming from all the contestants in the just concluded Anambra governorship election, the Resident Electoral Commissioner  in Anambra state  had just  given details of  how all parties stand as stipulated  by Nigeria electoral law which says that a candidates must win at least in fifteen local governments following  its break down in the way electorates in Anambra voted, it shows that the incumbent Willie Obiano has indeed won the election.


Affirming the authentification of the result,  Professor  Sanna  Apago of the University of Calabar who happened to be the returning officer told journalist that he was going to be reading from form E8, which gives full details of how the contestants stand.After presenting all the details, Professor Sanna Apago declares the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA)'s  candidate as the winner of the Anambra Governorship election.

Addressing journalists on the outcome of the results, the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) chairman Mr. Oye, thanked  Anambra people and said the governor will make do with his promise of constructing  Areotropolis for the people of the state. He said God has brought him and Willie Obiano for special things of this nature which according to him, happens once in hundred years for the state to develop and that he was very happy with the outcome of the result.
The National Secretary of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA in person of labaran Maku  also thanked Anambra people for their stand on the election ‘the people of Anambra has spoken, who are we to talk, every election must be determined by the electorates and this is it, they have spoken’’
Meanwhile, the all progressive Congress (APC)came second whilst the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Came third. The UPP Candidate Mr.  Osita Chidoka had since taken to his twitter handle to announce that he has since congratulated the Deputy governor after calling Gov willie Obiano where his phone switched off.

After the announcements of results from 15 local government areas, APGA’s Willie Obiano has 157, 528 votes. APC’s candidate Tony Nwoye has 70, 336 votes while Oseloka Obaze of PDP has 52, 698 votes.

The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State Oseloka Obaze has lost his local government to the incumbent governor of the state and All Progressives Grand Alliance’s (APGA) Willie Obiano.
Obiano took Ogbaru Local Government with a total of 6, 615 while Obaze secured 4,416 votes to pull ahead of All Progressives Congress’s Tony Nwoye who had 3. 415 votes.
Obiano has also won ten other local governments so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with 122,688 votes while both Nwoye and Obaze trail with 55,961 and 40,767 votes respectively.
Osita Chidoka of UPP is in a distant fourth position with a paltry 2, 746 votes.
