A trader in Abesan whose name is Odunayo Ajayi has raised  alarm over an attempt to swindle him through land grabbing as his land was allegedly hijacked after making payment with receipt to a representative of the ikibawo’s family whose name is Mr Sunday and one Akele; where-with petitioned the Area commander of Ota command, lamenting the way and manner with which the scenario was played alleging criminal conspiracy under false pretence .

The location of the said development is at ota environment along iyana-iyesi in ota is where the said land is located, justifying the jurisdiction of the Area commander whose command covers those locations as the petition stipulates.
In the petition, a copy which was obtained by our correspondent alleged that Mr Akele and one Sunday had betrayed his trust in the cause of wanting to acquire land. Odunayo also alleged that after the transaction he was shown the parcel of half plot of land at Baford and that after sometimes, he discovered the said land has started having some form of erection on it making him wonder what was going on. Unknown to him, the land is said to have been re-allocated to someone else.
‘’the petition reads; the importance attached to trust when businesses are being transacted is anchored on this believe that everybody having the needed potential as individuals that can do a legitimate transaction that indeed should have some elements of integrity in it, in the way we act, relates and transact businesses of whatever kind’’.
Accordingly, the said transaction was made in the past six years and since then, every effort put to use in getting his parcel of land from the said family representative in the person of Mr Akele and his cohort proved abortive.
‘’The narrative is that the said parcel of land was sold to me at the rate of 150,000,00 with specification  of half plot of land located at Baford area adjacent Osuke in ota environment and after the land had been allocated with receipt showing details of amount paid as enumerated to my person, these same individuals after the transaction in 2013, went ahead and sold the parcel of land to another individual making it difficult to truly establish the true owner of the said land since its now been establish from the look of things that two parties now lay claim to the said land’’
The petitioner, Odunayo requested the meaningful intervention of the Area commander of ota in Sango environment of  Ogun state police command to help secure his land saying it has made every appeal legitimately on the said land initially to no avail, the reason he resorted to asking the area commander’s intervention on the matter.

The petitioner told urban express news correspondent that the police had since acknowledged receipt of the said petition, hoping  that meaningful intervention of the area commander would help significantly at the end of it all acknowledging the fact that recently, it was against this whole backdrop that the Ogun state government enact law prohibiting land grabbers of this kind not to have there way perpetuating heinous crime. Odunayo said although there are some irregularities here and there but hope all identified is urgently taken care of, and that which he said is not losing confidence in the area commander of Sango ota in Ogun state on said the matter.
